I know I’m late to the party, but I’ve been looking online for free quality science fiction online for ages and this looks promising. Will try to catch on to the current point of the story. Is this part of a series however, and should I read something else before Evermist (like is there a previous serial in the New Universe series?) Thanks

Oops, I didn’t get any note (I think) you had replied. Good idea to take a break from writing with…uh, more writing… My jab is in jest of course, as Sanderson (and I’m sure others) do that too, he wrote Alcatraz (haven’t read it yet) while taking a break from…Mistborn – I think.

I haven’t run into that problem yet, but usually I only get small chunks of time which are over too quickly to find myself running into a wall. Though I have hit many sections of writing that gave me dread to undertake for a variety of reasons (the dreaded cheese factor, too clíched, etc.)

Okay – fixed the comment thing. Sorry about that!

Glad you like the design – I wanted it to look different so you knew there was a definite separation. This is for Evermist alone.

The concept is a serial novel online. It might be published in print some day – who knows? For now – this is online fiction, free to read and hopefully, people will like it, tell their friends, and people will come and enjoy the story. If that also gets them used to coming to the site once a week, and maybe clicking on other stuff, well, that would be great too. I think there’s a lot to offer and be interested in.

Over 30 chapters are written, and I’m working on more. I needed a break from Kane to clear my head. Evermist does that just fine

Seems like it is off to a good start. So what is your concept with this? Is there an intention to make it a full fledged novel at some point, but for now it serves as something to whet the appetite of visitors to your site on a regular basis? Nice sub-site design for Evermist by the way. Though I’d like to have larger type in this comment box so I can see myself type. Very, very small. *eyes 2 inches from screen*
